Gettin' to the Bayou..

Well - after what turned into a 20 hr drive sheer chaos trying to find our hotel we made it here. Today we plan to see what goodies are to be found after checking into the Shadowbox Theater and getting our passes. Hope to find few graveyards and maybe a voodoo shop here and there - who knows what magic we'll find :) Will try to keep you posted as often as possible!

4-5 hrs left and counting.....what? I haven't started packing yet??

Okay this may or may not be the last "from the home of Kristy" post - my ass is in delay mode - Last night I couldn't sleep a wink so I woke up at 2 today and still haven't started packing yet!!!

Yes I'm always late packing - a procrastinator of the worst kind but in the end I'll be ready to roll out when Lauren shows up if not she'll kick my ass!! Either way it's Road Trip Day!! We are to depart on this fabulous adventure between 8 and 9 pm soooo with that in mind I need to get in gear - overdrive preferably lol!!

Posting a video partially for test purposes but also for your listening pleasure while we prepare to leave :) and until our next post! And yes eventually Lauren will speak out on here lol! I hope (giggle)!

The Countdown Is On!

Well it's Sunday officially now and we are due to pull out on Tuesday evening - there's still so much to do - print up promo materials - pack up a trunk-load of books and then there's the clothes - considering its a 4 night affair and so many things going on plus wanting some free time to explore you need many outfits - I pray we don't blow the shocks in the car or end up needing a small uhaul behind in tow lol. Either way there's lots to do and I can't wait to get going but at the same time I'm chewing nails praying I get all my ducks in a row! I assure you that we will be posting all kinds of goodies for you in as real time as possible as sometimes we will be using equipment that will require us to download items to the laptop back at the hotel. IF there are any special requests throw them out to me and I'll see what I can do to bring the events to you living and live :) Wish me luck on getting all my goods ready to rock and roll down the road! Lookin' forward to sharing our first adventure with you! Also see the schedule of events so you know what is happening at the Vampire Film Festival but this isn't all that's going on - there's also Voodoo Fest over the weekend too! It's going to be one hell of a party!!
